Responsibilities:
Apply and interpret the formal Systems Engineering processes Provide periodic reports on system effectiveness, identifying any degradation and recommending corrective course(s) of action Provide systems engineering support ensuring traceability of system design Support acquisition and sustainment of systems and software development, testing, and evaluation of improvements to fielded systems and equipment in support of the mission Conduct risk reviews for fielded systems in accordance with Air Force Risk Management best practices Deliver systems engineering products in support of the Program Managers Provide technical risk evaluation and mitigation Perform detailed technical reviews of vendor and depot products Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in a relevant area of study 3
years of related experience Demonstrated expertise in overseeing product development strategies and technology improvement initiatives, supporting cross-functional teams in gathering and translating complex project requirements and delivering solutions that meet defined objectives Documented high performance as a systems engineer preferably at the System Program Office (SPO) level Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to communicate with executives Multi-discipline engineering experience to contribute technical advice across multiple projects in a small group.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
